Community Mission Statement

“To restore the family to Christ.”

In response to an increasing need to minister to and support a fast-growing segment of the population in Southern New Jersey who were developing a deep hunger to know the Lord, the BLD Newark community opened this outreach in the Diocese of Trenton. Our mission is accomplished through the various BLD evangelization and formation programs, seminars, teachings, and mission works. Foremost among these programs are the Marriage, Family, and Youth encounters and Life in the Spirit seminars.
