Intercessory Ministry
“Is anyone among you sick? He should summon the
presbyters of the church, and they should pray over him and anoint
(him) with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will
save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up… pray for one
another, that you may be healed.”
(James 5:14-16)
Members of the Intercessory Ministry are “prayer warriors” who
intercede and ‘stand in the gap’ on behalf of others and the community.
We believe in the power of prayer and the graces obtained most
specially by group prayer. “Again, (amen,) I say to you, if two
of you agree on earth about anything for which they are to pray, it
shall be granted to them by my heavenly Father.”
(Mt 18:19)
